  • Industry biosafety standard: how pig farms can protect themselves from threats

    The Association of Ukrainian Pig Breeders (AUPB) has presented the Sectoral Biosafety Standard for pig farms. The document was developed with the support of the US Department of Agriculture (USDA) and is aimed at increasing the level of protection of animals from diseases, in particular African swine fever (ASF).

  • USDA and AUPB Project: Results of Monitoring of Enteric Pathogens and Their Resistance in Pigs

    As part of the joint project of the Association of Ukrainian Pig Breeders (AUPB) and the US Department of Agriculture (USDA) "Animal Health in Ukraine", microbiological monitoring of bacterial pathogens in pigs was conducted for the first time to determine antibiotic susceptibility using the minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) method, taking into account the clinical picture.
